JADE Learning now provides board approved Alabama electrical continuing education.

As of January 1, 2013, the Alabama Board of Electrical Contractors has adopted Rule 303-X-5 that requires continuing education for all licensed electrical contractors and provisional electrical contractors. License holders will be required to obtain 14 continuing education hours during a two year period starting January 1, 2013. Electricians can take the board approved electrical continuing education course titled “2011 NEC Changes” with JADE Learning to fulfill this requirement. The cost for this 14 hour course is only $150.

Alabama electrical contractors will be able to renew licenses for 2013 and 2014 without having to submit proof of the fourteen hours. The Board voted to allow a full 24 months ending December 31, 2014 for electrical contractors to obtain and submit the required continuing education.
