How to Renew Your New York - Suffolk County Electrician License
Suffolk County Electricians are required to complete 4 or 8 hours of continuing education every two years.
- License Renewal Deadline: First day of the month issued, every two years.
- Master electricians need to complete 8 hours of continuing education.
- Restricted electricians need to take 4 hours of continuing education.
- Restricted types include: HVAC (RE1), Oil and Gas Burning Equipment (RE3), Signs and Lighting Systems (RE4) or Communications Cable Installer (RE5)
Only pay for online courses when you complete the course. Your certificate will be emailed after completing the course.
