How to Renew Your Electrical License in Vermont
Electricians in the state of Vermont must meet the following guidelines in order to renew their license:
- Complete 15 hours of continuing education every 3 years.
- A Type S specialty license requires the completion of 8 hours of continuing education every 3 years.
- Electricians are also required to complete the Vermont Energy Goal Education Module which can be done online through the Vermont Division of Fire Safety website.
- The license renewal date in Vermont is before the expiration date, every 3 years.
