Learn More About Electrical Continuing Education in Connecticut

Electricians in the state of Connecticut are required to complete annual continuing education in order to renew their electrical license. JADE Learning provides the necessary classes to keep your electrical license up to date in the state of Connecticut.

We offer virtual instructor-led training (VILT) courses for the state of Connecticut. Hours will be reported to the Connecticut Electrical Work Examining Board within two business days of attending a class.

How to Renew Your Electrical License in Connecticut

Connecticut electricians must complete the following in order to renew their electrical license.

  • Complete 4 hours of electrical continuing education every year.
  • Deadline for license renewal is September 30th, every year. All continuing education (CE) hours must be completed by June 30 of each year.
  • All hours must be completed in a live class with an instructor present. Virtual classes are accepted.

When attending a class, you must bring a copy of the 2020 National Electrical Code with you. You may not use a digital version on a smart phone. Only desktop, laptop and computer notebooks or tablets are permitted for live class attendance.

Please arrive 15–20 minutes early to get checked in.
