Journeyman and contractors must complete 12 credit hours of continuing education (CE) every three years before their license or registration certificate expires.
State-approved CE must include the following:
Apprentices need to take three hours of CE each year to renew their registration. This education requirement is only waived if the applicant is a student at an approved trade school or is currently completing training when renewing.

Once you've passed all comprehension quizzes and/or final tests, you get immediate access to a downloadable certificate of completion. We also send one to the email address associated with your JADE Learning account.
We report your completions to the CIB for you, so this document is for your personal records. We do not submit license renewal applications for you.
Completed courses are available for 180 days from your student account.
