Electricians in the state of New Jersey are required to complete triannual continuing education in order to renew their electrical license. How to Renew Your Electrical License in New Jersey

New Jersey electricians must complete 34 continuing education hours every three years in order to renew their electrical license.

  • License renewal deadline is every three years by the expiration date.
  • All hours must be completed in a classroom (or through an approved Virtual Instructor-Led Training class during the COVID-19 pandemic)
