How to Renew Your Washington State Electrical License

The state requires electricians to meet the following guidelines for Washington state electrical CEU courses in order to renew an electrical license:

  • Complete 24 hours of continuing education every 3 years.
  • 8 of the 24 hours must be dedicated to Code.
  • 4 of the 24 hours must be dedicated to RCW/WAC.

License renewal deadline is prior to the expiration date every 3 years.
