According to the state licensing board, electricians in Massachusetts must earn 21 hours of continuing education (CE) credits every three years by July 31 to renew their licenses.
Of the total hours, 15 must cover Massachusetts Electrical Code updates, while the other six are professional development electives. Access to a copy of the latest National Electrical Code (NEC) is also required.
The Massachusetts Board of State Examiners of Electricians (Board) only accepts CE credit from approved education providers like JADE Learning. We offer courses for Class A (Master) and Class B (Journeyman) licenses.
