State law requires an Idaho water certification for all persons who practice or offer to practice as a water operator, wastewater operator, or backflow assembly tester in the state of Idaho through the Idaho State Board of Drinking Water & Wastewater Professionals. Every community and non-transient non-community public drinking water system and every wastewater treatment and collection system is required to have a licensed operator in charge at all times while the system is functioning.

How to Renew Your Idaho Water Certification
Idaho Water Operators must complete 6 hours of continuing education annually in order to renew their license. The license must be renewed every year prior to the expiration date.
You will be emailed your certificate of completion upon completion of the course and receipt of payment.
