Idaho Electrical Engineer License Renewal Deadlines: The last day of the licensee's birth month, every two years (Odd years for those born in odd years; even years for those born in even years.).

How do I renew my license? Step 1. Complete your professional development hours. Step 2. Renew your license by returning your completed renewal form. If you did not receive one, email Edith.Williams@ipels.idaho.gov
What if I don't renew my license? "Any work performed after a license or certificate of authorization has expired, but before delayed renewal has been effected, shall become valid upon delayed renewal as if the license or certificate of authorization had not expired, but the licensee or certificate holder may be subject to disciplinary action by the board for practice on an expired license or such other action as provided pursuant to this chapter."
Why should I renew my license? "Failure on the part of any licensee or business entity to renew their license or certificate of authorization prior to their expiration shall not deprive such persons or business entity of the right of renewal, but the fees to be paid for renewal after their expiration shall be increased as prescribed in Section 54-1216, Idaho Code."
What happens if I'm late to renew my license? "$80/every 2 years Late fees are charged at 20% per month, in $16 increments up to a max of $80 per licensing period, or a maximum of $220 (in addition to the original renewal fee) if more than one licensing period is missed"
