How to Renew Your Massachusetts Drinking Water Operator License
Drinking water operators in Massachusetts are required to complete 5-20 training contact hours (TCHs), depending on license type, every two years in order to renew their license. The deadline for renewal is December 31st, every odd-numbered year.
- VSS and VND Operators = 5 hours
- Grade 1 and Grade 2 Operators = 10 hours
- Grade 3 Operators = 15 hours
- Grade 4 Operators = 20 hours
- No more than 50% of required hours can be dedicated to safety-related topics.
