2017 NEC Changes

The 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC) has undergone numerous changes, and many states require learning these new regulations for an electrical license renewal.

Below, you will find information about JADE Learning’s electrical continuing education course that covers the 2017 NEC changes.

About the Course

This course covers the most important changes to the 2017 National Electrical Code. Topics include:

  • New Articles 425 and 691.
  • New Articles 706, 710, 712.
  • 90.2(A) Scope. Covered.
  • Figure 90.3 Code Arrangement.

The 2017 NEC Changes course is taken online, and you are welcome to stop and start again as often as you like. Your progress will be saved along the way, allowing you to work on it as your schedule permits.
The passing score and number of questions is different for each state, and we recommend using a 2017 NEC book during the course for reference.

If you do not achieve a passing score, you may retake the course at any time for no additional charge. Once you complete the course, you may pay for it online or mail in a check or money order. After we process your payment, you will receive a certificate of completion by email. When permitted, JADE Learning will also notify the board of your course completion.
The cost of the 2017 NEC Changes course and NEC code adoption varies by state, so please see your state’s continuing education page for pricing. NEC adoption also varies by state and you can view your state’s NEC adoption here.
